Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: Gal 1:4

This present evil world means right now in time. And deliver means to "SAVE"

You can deny the truth is you want, but you are the one that stands to lose.

This sounds like the Old Baptists I grew up hearing, NOT the progressive "new " Primitive Baptists that have tried to take over the faith. Am I right? I reside in Mich. but listened to the Word in Tennessee.

@dfelcman - I used to attend a neo-Calvinistic (MacArthur-ite) church and I have never been more burdened by "ceremonial laws" than in that setting. Men's groups, women's groups, children's groups, ice-cream socials, choir rehearsals, sunday schools, baby dedications, covenant marriage ceremonies, missionary conferences, and on and on... The PB church is completely lacking in all of this nonsense but there's one thing they don't lack - a successful savior. God bless the PB church.

@SuperHazard2 - Jesus taught that with men, eternal salvation is IMPOSSIBLE. (Matt 19:26) Peter preached "SAVE YOURSELVES from this untoward generation." (Acts 2:40). If Peter and Jesus are talking about the same salvation, then the bible makes no sense. Peter is addressing believers who already have eternal life (I John 5:1) He is preaching gospel obedience - to be saved FROM THIS UNTOWARD GENERATION. That's time salvation and without it the bible's teaching on salvation is illogical.

Only a PB can bring it that strong, without all the "ifs", "ands", and "buts" that butt the grace right out of our salvation. Keep defending the faith that was ONCE delivered unto the saints. For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. (Heb 10:14)

@myGodis1lord Yeshua is his real name in Hebrew or Aramaic. Jesus is a Greek and Roman Paganasation of his name..King James was the Pagan King of England who stamped his name on top of the bible. Some say King James got saved on his death bed some historians say other wise.King James was not a bible figure..

Yes but do you baptize in Jesus name like the only way the bible knows how to or in the titles of Father Son Holy Spirit, cuz the bible only knows baptsm in Jesus Name. LUKE 24 and 45-47. Jesus Endorsed.

At :22, why do you refer to the church as follows: "now SHE'S gone by many different names through the ages and SHE'S been preserved by God until this very day"? Does it have something to do with being the bride of Christ? I've never head the church referred to as "she." Please explain. Thank you.

Im from Tennessee. 21 years old. And have been a primitive baptist since I was 18. I am soo thankful for having the peace I do now. And I wish there was a way I could get through to those who do not know the truth. But only God can reveal them that. I am simply just doing as he would allow me. Anyone get what I'm trying to say? WE are peculiar people. And must use that to our advantage. Although daily we are persecuted for our beliefs. Just stay strong God's people.

@ElderKeithEllis Hi! I grew up for years in the Missionary Baptist Church. While I never really felt in "place" there the people were nice and I continued going until my mid 20's. Recently I have been attending Primitive Baptist Churches. There IS a difference. There is NO chaos! Your week is not planned for you! There is decorum and peacefullness and no bands playing and it is STRICTLY worshiping the lord without diversions of ANY kind.
