President Carter got the peace prize too. You know Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize twelve days after taking office. Upon acceptance of winning it, Obama was praised by the committee, "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy". . They also gave the peace prize to Yasser Arafat, the leader of the PLO, the best known terrorist organization on the globe. This is like giving it to David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

@gulbirk Germany has one of the US's largest overseas military bases. And civilian casualties happen in both Afghanistan and Iraq. The vast majority of civilian deaths in these countries are at the hands of insurgents, but events like the one you described unfortunately happen. Usually, these are investigated, and plenty of American soldiers have been sentenced for murder in American courts. It's considered illegal, both here, and there.

The invasion of the middle easter countries is stupid. yesterday i watched a part of a show about wikileaks. it showed video fottage of NATO forces killing innocent people for no other reason then killing. and then later, brag about to the other. one of the coments was this """Hey, chekc out that want, it might contain explosives" "No reason to open fire yet" as he said that, the other guy fired 252 bullet at the car.
