I hate it when i do this. Run wide, costing time and acceleration so you want to get on the power. The problem then is, you are on a slick part of the track and it wants to step out, and it does. So you try and save it, but by the time you've counter-steered, you've lifted aswell, and it hooks and sends you off the track where brakes don't work at all. GT5 is where this became a very real problem for me.

@MrBv256 He locked his brakes, so counter-counter steering didn't work. Look at 0:33-0:35. By the time he is on the sand trap he locks his brakes and he can't avoid the barriers --> Panic. I always thought that Petrov was a smart driver but as I can see, he is short of perfectionism...
