The World Bank says poverty is a bigger problem than previously thought after revising its earlier estimate. It now says 1.4 billion people live in poverty, based on a new poverty line of $1.25 per day.

World Bank, IMF, UN have all failed. They are useless, politically motivated and corrupt. I don't take them seriously anymore. China has helped its people out of poverty because it truly cares about its own citizens. And Chinese are hardworking and listen to their leaders. Not to say China is perfect, there are still problems but clearly its policies have worked. China rules! The rest of the developing countries should follow China, stop going to meaningless summits in New York for God's sake!
