María Rosa Oubiña de Castro: pupil of the maestri Vicente Scaramuzza, Abbey Simon, Nikita Magaloff, Madelaine Lipatti and Hans Graff, she develops an extensive pedagogic career. Since 1974 she has been often invited to teach courses in the most important higher Conservatories in Europe (Geneva, Rome, Naples, Strasbourg, Brussels, Paris, Madrid). Founder of the CEP and the "Martha Argerich International Piano Competition". She wrote several specialized books.
