Great work Trisha. Not so long ago I saw one of your exhibitions at the Delaplaine in Frederick, Md. Love your use of color and vibrant brushstrokes. I am an artist myself and love your work. Hope to see more of your paintings.

I have some videos of myself singing. The art is harder to organise. I don't have a puter at home you see. If you click on my user name you get directed to my page and you will see my videos. Thank you for the painting advice too!

great colours, I like how you keep your palette so clean. My paintings always wind up getting muddy! I've started having a jar of terps for cleaning only and one for thinning, that has helped. I'm using mediums to thin lately though as I've seen that terps can dull the paint and leave it a bit powdery too. Anyway, you're great.

Dear Pixie P. Queen,
Thanks for the comment! I'd love to see your artwork, too. Do you have a video/website I can view?
Mud is just a neutral color that is out of place. In the right place it's called a "beautiful gray!"
To find a color, I compare it to other parts of the painting -- this green is darker than here, lighter than there, bluer than that or that, but warmer than that.
Well, enough of the unsolicited painting advice! Thank you for the comment.
