  • you bet ....AMEN..!! some youngsters don´t admit that the approach, in the guitar playing by VAI or SATRIANI, came from EVH....They are more technical ..yes..but the ideas came mostly from EVH.

  • Surprised I'm the first comment....this shit is history....way cool.

  • I'm sorry...Eddie is the best...

  • @stratdem WTF, I'm sorry man but I have to correct you. There is only the one Jimi Hendrix, not only a great guitarist but a great song writer and singer. The style of guitar playing that Jimi Hendrix did was a hybrid of blues, rock, soul, funk and psychedelic. BTW, Jimi Hendrix was voted by Rolling Stone Magazine Nov 11 as the greatest rock guitarist of all time. I was blowin away by Eddies shear abandonment and brute force and speed of tapping, but, we are all diciples of Jimi Hendrix! Freedom

  • @brodoloni01 Fred Mandel

  • God damn Fred Mandel's got the funk!

  • Five of the same, wtf. Where's the strat or the gibo?

  • Please... Who's on the piano?

  • You're ON MY CHANNEL!!

  • @muppy1100 you are sooo right! the whole guitar world was changed in a huge way 34 years ago.

jimi hendrix could only dream of doing what eddie van halen has done and continue to do 34 years

later! theres no one like him and most certainly never will be any one like the pure guitar genuis

    of edward van halen!

  • theres no guitarist past or present that enven comes close to edwaed van halens guitar genuis period!

  • Yes, SRV was the BLUES; unfortuntely (also unfortunate I may not be able to spell) those bright lights, fast living often take peopple like SRV out of this place too soon (see you in the next one, don't be late)!!
