Excellent review, thanks for taking the time to do this. One point. regarding picture quality. It seems by the video you're saying how great the pics are by what the lcd screen is showing you. Since these lcds have so many pixels, even terrible shots look great - and it's not until you pull them up on your computer screen (or printing) can you really tell how good the pic is.

Have you done that with this camera, and if yes, how did you like them ? Thanks !

@TheGmanATL Yes, these were all viewed in Aperture on-screen, very good quality, nice detail.

Ive been trying to use flash while recording my videos. I do alot of inhouse (night) videos and i need a lil extra light. Is this possible?

The EVF is not as good as a traditional viewfinder or a SLR viewfinder but, it provides the same benefit; allowing you to hold the camera close to your head to hold the camera more steady.

Thanks for giving this camera a good review. Kodak needs a positive review, like this. You helped me to find some of the menu features on my z990. (I still need to read the manual.) Also thanks for pointing out to me that the dial also clicks like a button. I got my Kodak z990 because it looked like Kodak finally got it right on their bridge camera, with this model, and I don't like cameras that make you rely on the back panel LCD as the only viewfinder.
