Rival Encounter Theme — Pokémon GSC: Remixes, Reorchestrated, and Redone

Who's that shadowy figure approaching me? It can't be... it is! Silver! Grade-A badass who remains suave and almost mysterious. I hope that clearly explains a lot of my instrumentation choices XD

I had to focus a LOT on the smaller details of this song, but it definitely paid off. I think this is probably the best song I've done so far. I also had to keep in mind that, just like all others, it IS an encounter theme, so it isn't supposed to be a huge, ever-changing arrangement, it's just a short, 1-minute song. Less, actually. But the loop for the encounter themes should always be the same as the first time around. Or at least incredibly similar.

I'm excited, too, because (at least to some extent), this is the first rock song I've done! Done well, at least.

Fittng enough for a champion encounter haha!! I really love this :D:D Mainly because it reminds me of the older Spyro games. The instruments you chose are very simular to the ones Stewart Copeland used for the Spyro music!! I think this is my favorite from you Stein.
