I believe this loco did suffer from a fire a while back, however has been sorted out since.

according to the picture in the magazine-rail,it was working the 0509 trafford pk- felixetowe intermodal .
it shows what is possibly a fire at the front end.

It got badly damaged and now its the sidings in Bletchley, probably unfixable as I heard the fire was terrible.
86501 has been regeared or something similar compared to other 86's and it's haulage capability is thought of the same as a 90 rather than coventional 86.
Sadly it may be time up for it after yesturdays fire.
