[HD] Trümmelbachfälle / Trummelbach falls, Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

10 glacier-waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by tunnel-lift and illuminated. The Trümmelbach alone drains the mighty glacier defiles of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau and carries 20200 tons of boulder detritus per year. It's drainage area is 24km² half of it covered by snow and glaciers. Up to 20000 litres of water per second. The only glacier-waterfalls in Europe inside the mountain and still accessible.
The Trummelbach Falls belong to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn and is listed in the Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance of Switzerland.

Nice job (and sure beats my own video of it). The amazing thing about this is that just when you think you've gone in a long way, it keeps going. It was fun the way the illuminated some of it with colored light. The only thing missing is the delightful walk back down to the entry area. We saw it/them in June 2010.
