@happylizard08 The body absorbs them. A period is not needed to get rid of the egg, which is insignificant compared to the uterine lining that needs to be expelled.

what happens to the eggs? isnt that what a period is for? getting rid of old eggs? i see a bit of a flaw in this...

I'm not an OBGYN, but this does not look like a tubal ligation (i.e. cutting and tying-off the fallopian tubes).
Instead, it appears to be a procedure where they are plicating the round ligament of the uterus.

omg that look dangerous! what happens to all the back up eggs? and did u see the tube it looks purple what if it suffocate and dies!!!!
