#100: R.I.P. Clarence Clemons. You were the best.
#99: Good song. R.I.P. Corey Haim
#98: They actually made a song about Ms. Pac Man; crazy!
#97: That song is f**king amazing, I love it!

This is far too americanized for me, i don't know any of these people :( Oh well, it just goes to prove there was lots of cheese back then in the USA too.

Interesting countdown...though A-ha and Flock of Seagulls do not belong in it. That's a matter of fact, not opinion. I'd have included "New World Man" by Rush personally.

@CommittedGex: OMG, he passed away! Sorry to hear that!

Am I the only one who notices for #100, it says CLARENCE CLEMONS). They put the parentheses twice and didn't notice!

@pimps1986 Don't forget the lead singer of Buckner & Garcia (#98) died recently.

I'm so happy to have lived threw the 80's and remember these songs.
To say that a-ha is a one hit wonder is plainly silly. They have been active and popular for 25 years now.
