@zarmanazan - You've completely lost the forest for the trees if that's all you have to say after listening to this beautiful performance. Yes, there are technical errors, but those are for Freshman music majors to discuss. After adolescence, a better goal is to find and recognize beauty where it can be found. Hers is a rare emotive gift, faults and all.

@zarmanazan Yeah, let's be brutally honest...only a superficial idiot like you would take her sweet time to criticize Gasparian's last performance. I have no respect for your kind. You should instead watch and adore your Kardashian sex videos and stay out of where you do not belong.

Absolutely Amazing!

Thank you for sharing this song. It beings back so many beautiful memories and always tears to my eyes!

And just imagine if in your late 70s , in a wheelchair, suffering terrible diseases, you sing this much, how fantastic you were in your prime time
-
@zarmanazan Even in that condition she is still the best

Let's be honest. A singer must realize when she has lost her voice , and not sing anymore. This is so out of tune, no breath control, nothing like a lullaby. She sings like any Armenian grandmother who is not a trained singer, would sing it.
One has to know when to stop. This is a carricature of Gasparyan's glorious voice of her prime.

Great song! Her voice is unforgettable! Raphael Patkanian was a great poet. Another poem of him, which I admire is "Mayr Araxi aperov, kaylamolor gnum em". His pen name GaMaR KaTiPa stands 4 the name of 3 Armenian poets; Gevork Kananian, Mnatsagan Timurian and himself, Raphael Patkanian. Btw, I have attended the Gevork Kananian School in Isfahan/Iran. I am proud to be an Armenian!

This is truly the most beautiful version of this song I have heard. My grandpa used to sing it to me when I was a baby. Brings back wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing it! ;)
