An Australian magpie grabs a small branch in an effort to catch a beetle and ends up on his back. His mate comes over and starts pecking at his belly, starting a small tussle.
This is very common and healthy behaviour amongst young maggies. Judging by the video tey are very young. Hard to tell, but it looks like they've still got some babie feathers. Nice vid.
Thank you for the comment on my magpies. They did look young, and this was definitely not the first time I'd seen this in the same area.
