If you really want to what's leaving the U.S. "vulnerable" it's the nutty republican who keep repeating their, obviously failed, ideology and the people stupid enough to continue believing them. Republicans offer this country nothing but open doors for wealthy crooks and recessions for the rest of the suckers. We should be ashamed but some of us are just to dumb to see what's really going on around us.

@greysong5 This is highly unlikely as the current president of taiwan is on very good terms with china , and china has shown that it is willing to accept the rpc as the ruling party of taiwan and grant taiwan as a self governmental state like hongkong , the only reason why china is on conflict with the united states is that china does not support the taiwanese military, in the event of a global war it is highly likely that china will send its troops to protect taiwan thus unlikely for a invasion

@greysong5 China isn't going to invade Taiwan! They know thats WW III, which is against all of their best interests. Economically what would they have to gain? Nothing. The fact that Taiwan and China are reaching the trade agreements that this isnt anywhere near an imminent conflict.

China isnt going to attack the US. First of they have no means of transporting any ground forces to the US. Second in the age of nuclear weapons MAD still reigns supreme as greatest peacemaker. Third economically both China and the US stand to lose far more than either would gain through war.
