  • thanks for the video! almost broke my back doing this today :) i love this method, the best i've seen so far. going to the hardware store now.

  • Your welcome. If you haven't already, check out my 2nd video with close up shots of the crane. Thanks and Happy New Year

  • I have found the video 2 you mentioned and have built and just last evening I stepped my mast with gret ease. Thanks for the plans.

  • Glad to help. You should make a video of it. Have a good summer sailing.

  • I am so happy I found your video. I have been struggling figuring it out how to do it myself without having to bother my friends. I would greatly appreciate receiving copies of pictures you have taken to help with the details of the swivil feet and anything else you could supply. Thanks again.

  • Have a look at my part 2 video. Its a slide show of pics. If you still have questions let me know.

  • nice. i've struggled with that for 4 years. have needed 3 people. ripped the step plate off twice. lol

  • pics coming soon. waiting for the sun to shine a bit stronger then will snap and upload. Thanks

  • Thanks for the video, high res. pics would be great

  • The legs are made from a featherlite fiberglass ladder, got from a yardsale. Cut the U channels in 1/2 and glue together to make square tubes, with wood core inserted every 12 inches. The swivel feet made from bimini hardware. When I get it back on the boat I will take some pics. Painting it right now. Thanks
