as beautiful as this mystical healing sounds in theory, leonard completely underestimates just how much the religious karma of nations has a hold on its people's minds. in the jews' scriptures, god commands sarah to be cruel in banishing hagar & ishmael because isaac is the chosen; devout jews want to demolish the dome of the rock & build the 3rd temple. allah, on the other hand, commands the palestinians to kick the infidels (jews) out of their land regardless of how nice &peaceful they may be.

the mystical wisdom of that moment of each prophet paved the path to where we are today. violence advocated was apt then as it was less violent. 'my way is the only way' was the genetic codes then to form clanships.
