"Musings of a Bored Housecat" for Miss Roxie the Cat (AKA 'Chicken')

Miss Roxie belonged to my very best friends in whose house I spent many an hour (hours, days, years!). And everpresent was this beloved cat. Everytime I entered the room, Roxie would run away (and I assure you her disdain was justified). But when I settled down with my crayons and sketchbook, Roxie would settle down as well. She was known for her lovely coloring and her penchant for sneezing. Occassionally, when I was sketching she would eye me with that ever-amused-meets-disdainful-eye... Then a big SNEEZE! I wrote this in spring 2005 with thoughts of what Miss Roxie must be thinking in between those sneezes....the day dreams and romances of a cat punctuated by sneezes and the occasional leap as she resisted my molestations. For Roxie, CP and TH who were and will always be part of the fabric of my being. Crayon-flavoured kisses....
