Learning Theremin (day seven)

Playing theme of the movie Laputa - Castle in the Sky on my theremin. This is seven days since I started practising the theremin and progress is hmm...? This one has more mistakes than my previous video but it's a longer, more difficult tune.

I've made backing with Roland Juno-G internal sequencer. In fact I had sequenced it a long time ago, just slowed it down a bit and removed the lead etc. The Theremin is plugged to Juno-G's audio in, I've applied some delay effect to the sound.

This is really, REALLY cool. Do you mind telling me what theremin your using? Or did you make it your self?

Actually my brother build it. It's based on the Jaycar kit. He ordered it from Australia and made a lot of improvements, e.g. new casing, antennas, and some knobs.

Antennit on tehty kupariputkesta, tavallista vesiputkea Biltemasta, kromattua tms. Kuumennettu taivuttamista varten. Kela oli kuulemma joku satunnaisesti valittu, arvo jotain 12mH.

Tuo on rakennussarjan pohjalta tehty. Australiasta tilattu Jaycar-kitti, johon tehty itse parannuksia, mm. lisätty säätönuppeja, puinen kotelo ja paremmat antennit.
