Pepe Romero on The Acoustic experience playing Leyenda for James Hunley 9 AM (1995) in Del Mar California. One take, no warm up, live to tape performance on a 1927? Hauser. Temperature low 50's


Shot just before Pepe and Celedonio performed together (see other videos).

Guitarists will notice that Pepe plays opening Accompaniment (B's)with the same finger not alternation after melody.

Another interesting note is that Pepe (in this video), plants his (a) finger after rasgueado for more stable repetition. Which he plays at lightning speed.
This edition is not the Segovia repeated ( B triplets) after rasgueado {which slows the potential tempo} but
is arpeggiated chords after Rasgueado.

Such a Hauser guitar costs 15000 euros today.

Note that it has a zero fret before the nut.

There is a reason for that and it's worth the effort.

Modern luthiers forgot how to make good guitars.
