Short tribute clip to H.G Well's - The War of the Worlds.

Martian Fighting Machines attack Woking (Surrey) town centre (The original setting of the story) Features the destuction of Barratt Homes New Project 'Woking New Central' Which although still under construction has already dominated the Woking Sky-line, but proves to be no match for an invading army of Martian killing machines.

In 1895, Wells was an established writer and he married his second wife, Catherine Robbins, moving with her to the town of Woking in Surrey. Here he spent his mornings walking or cycling in the surrounding countryside, and his afternoons writing. The original idea for The War of the Worlds came from his brother, during one of these walks, pondering on what it might be like if alien beings were to suddenly descend on the scene and start attacking its inhabitants.
Much of The War of the Worlds takes place around Woking and nearby suburbs. The initial landing site of the Martian invasion force, Horsell Common, was an open area close to Wells's home.

I live in Woking too, round the corner from Maybury Hill, my nan lives on Maybury Hill. :p It's weird to see that the "Martian" sculpture is still up in the town centre near the Big Apple :p

I may have found a work around for your War of the Worlds videos. I'm not sure it works but it may be worth a try. I've seen it work for others and it has worked for myself. Use the original artists name in the title. E.G. "Jeff Wayne - War of the Worlds Part 1". As an added bonus do NOT take any credit for the video you have made. Hope this helps and I hope you read this. Additionally I hope to see your War of the Worlds videos back up on you tube.. Let me know how you get on
