When he was a boy, Tsuchiya Keiichi admired the tail sliding race style of Takahashi Kunimitsu. He considered him a king, a king of drift. He had aspirations of becoming just like his heroic racer. Soon enough, he was also known to pull long tail slides during sanctioned races. The Drift King was born.
