@DrUnnameds yep, that is why we stagger the additions. The bacon is cooked first by itself until crips and then the next ingredients are added and the last things don't need more than a few minutes (chili and cheese just need to warm up ya know?)

@ringo999999 YEAH! Plus, it's food. Yes, you can go wrong with food, but that all depends on one's taste. Like, I don't like Pringles, but doesn't mean I'm gonna go dissing Pringles all over the place. People seem to like it, so whatever.

However, I think Poutine just has so much potential to be totally creative and awesome no matter what you do. As long as it has cheese and gravy and taters it's bound to be fucking delicious.
