i saw him in concert about 6-7 years ago in a small gym in a small town and i was so moved by him and his music he was astounding especially this song with no music ,,,we talked awhile after the show and he is an amazing man with amazing eyes, Love him ..I pray God continues to bless him !

When was that? I could kick myself for missing him.
I saw him do this live in 1998, at that time he did it acapella, just him standing on the stage, singing this, with no instruments. It took everyone by suprise, and I found myself crying. It was the single most beautiful musical moment of my life, and has stayed with me. He is the greatest.

His a capella version of this is astounding. Richie has one of those voices that gives you the chills.
