  • To a non-religious person such as myself, this is a moving and inspiring hymn.

May we all learn to "Come round right!"

  • @aeaemom Close! It's a Shaker Hymn. I'm serious! Shakers were known for their worship style involving dance and movement.

  • @yersubconscious --Nixon was never a Quaker. His mother was. He rarely attended any religious service, and when asked he referred to himself as Episcopalian. However, we should excuse the Anglicans because they never identified with him. It was one of many things Nixon lied about. And the Quaker Oat Co. has never had any connection with the Society of Friends, nor has it shared any Quaker values.

  • wow beautiful... best i've herd yet!

  • But Quaker Oats is owned by Pepsi and never had anything to do with the Society of Friends (Quakers). Just used the name and image.

  • Sorry, but who saw Jeff Foxworthy? Or Ned Flanders....?

  • @hrhicks1 quakers make oats (and Nixon), and shakers make tables and chairs...

  • I'll bet those dudes are hot for those sexy Jesus dresses.

  • Not Quaker, but Shaker, written at the Shaker colony near Glouster, Maine.

  • Love, love, love this song!!!!

  • @aeaemom It's a shaker hymn though, but Agreed
