  • @ShadeSigma I don't understand why they don't get more exposure becasue unlike most underground hip-hop I actually think they have a lot of mainstream appeal. I'm sure even people who don't listen to rap would like Blue Scholars.

  • @Totamari yeaa ikr!

  • @19MJsPr89 I fucking hate Rap. Blue scholars Fucking rock.

  • As evil as it sounds, I almost don't want them to get super popular, they might lose their charm due to the fame....naaahhhh

  • GODDAMN THIS SHIT IS SICK

  • This goddamn song just does something to me. It feels like a Sesame Street song or Dr. Suess book or something and just makes me feel good in every way.

  • i dont like hiphop because of guns drugs hoes and money...but this is so awesome...its about real things about real life ...real music...

  • @TheDoubleDiamondKing so do i ahaha

  • These guys, Sage Francis, and Atmosphere, redeemed the rap genre for me. I love Blue Scholars. So fresh.

  • @brandonreyes i know connor surdi!!!!!

  • @19MJsPr89 It's simple really. If they go mainstream, people would expect them to sign with a big record label. As a result, they'd be forced to be under the dictatorship of greedy, big money corporates. And thus, it would be harder to stay in touch with their smaller fan base.

And yeah, I used to be into hip hop like Nas but then I started listening to more technical, progressive and avant-garde music. These days, Blue Scholars are one of the few hip-hop acts I can actually enjoy completely.
