@Bluesswede The songwriter was B3 organist Jimmy McGriff, who played the kind of swinging shuffles Albert dug and which have so clearly influenced AS and many others.

As amazing as this is groove-wise for us listeners, there's a moment for a the bassplayer thats captured at 3:00 that really moves me:
the camera catches him locked with the drummer and clearly lost in the moment, when what Alex plays; something so soulful and in the groove that the bassplayer, in the middle of the moment, steps out to admire what just passed, and shakes his head at what a lucky MF he is to be in the middle of it all. then - back to work!

I was the bass player with Henry Qualls , he was the old black man from Elmo Texas , they made the concert T-Shirt that year with him on it, very cool looking shirt,Nice thing to do for Henry too!!
