@TIMOTHYSAARINEN I can understand why Pecknold decided not to put this song on the album. It just didn't fit in with the rest of the album. For Helplessness Blues, he was aiming for an album which has a whole greater than the sum of its parts. He definitely succeeded, given that I listen to it front-to-back over and over. Why in hell isn't this awesome song on "Helplessness Blues"? This song is too good to languish in obscurity. It should have been on the new album! It's not like there wasn't enough room for it.

That would be awesome if they came back to Silver City. I was living here around this time but then I was unaware of the Fleet. I can't believe I missed this concert.

@mikenicefoto Agree! Masterpiece is the right word for it. I can't even believe Robin considers this song "unfinished" -- it's nothing less than a magnum opus!
