    Thank you guys :-)

  • @guitarplayer4real I'll have to try the real Bufweis because the American version of it is like water with bubbles lol. I rarely buy cheap American beer although some of the small brewers do ok, but European beer is sooo much better!!!

Yea grandpa was in europe for WW2, he was an infantryman in the army, he was really proud of that but never told us a lot about his service. I think a lot of men saw many bad things and spend their lives proud but trying to forget.. I'll never forget. Take care

  • @guitarplayer4real Ive been to Plzen so many times... I try to be nationalstic to my home town in southern Bohemia though - Cesje Budejovice = Budweis with the real Budweiser :))))))

Was your ggradfather i the US army? Western Bohemia was officially liberated by the US infantries, where the east was reserved to be "liberated" by the red army.. but thats Politics:)

Beer and politics dont mix well :) Lol

  • @homobohemicus Pilsner is one of my all time favorite beers definately... I personally love the Czech Republic myself. I just learned that it comes from this town so came to look. I guess my grandfather was over there but I dont know much, he was in infantryman in WW2.

    Take care man...

  • hmm... typical stupid babble.. talking about Pilsen like being destroyed from the war!!! Its a great city and pretty in shape,Pilsner bee is great and doing well... Beer in Czech is a passion and not a run after the not so all mighty "USD"
