Project unreal, because: as you can see, the truck drops the bomb, when the bomb hits the ground BOOOM, just like the jets.

I'd say the "Reality" part in Project Reality is more inclined toward gameplay rather than physics. Not every game can be perfect, you know? ;]

I believe the "iiiuu" sound is actually part of the BF2 engine, a sound made whenever a bomb-type object is falling, no matter the height or speed, which might explain why it still exists in Project Reality
