@Arcusinoz Its a regimental thing. Ok after a bit of research I found out that because it was a mutli clan Regiment at its formation and since they were going to be used to fight they wanted a low visibility colour. Not sure if thats the whole and or true story... i'll ask my buddy whose in the regiment.

@Thanato26....sorry I still dont get it .its a scots marching band playing the pipes..................yet they have No tartan ........even in Australia .........all our scots marching bands, wear a tartan..........our most famous scots band, which is actually Irish, they dont play the war pipes, but play music and march..........so you can see my confusion.....................
