AWESOME, if you can improve something you purchase by hacking it, why wouldn't you want to do that? That is great.

WTF - this is a "hack?" Playing music or videos? Is this why you buy a GPS for crissakes? How about "hack" that make the damned things work better instead of making toys? How about being able to edit POI's and things like that, that every other gPS allows, but Magellan's do NOT?
Waste of time.

I could hack mine with MioPocket 3.0. The only problem is that you can either use the GPS or the movie/mp3 player.
Just google MioPocket 3.0

So i just got a 4040 few weeks ago and came across that thread "Unlocking Magellan Maestro series". So im watchin ur video and i see Chicopee and 116....im like WHAT THE FUCK!? thats right down the street from me! what the hell are the odds of that...seriously! cant wait to mod this bad boy. do they have a universal unlock code or keygen for the voice recognition??

Haha! You will be surprised even more if I tell you that I picked that location randomly to mask my real location via "Set GPS position" feature.
