In this video, I do my best to relay general guidelines and tips on how to wire up an N64 controller; how to do it, what goes where, etc.

  • @MODDEDbyBACTERIA someone might have already pointed this out but I likedhowyou used the same color wire as the button it connects to. Not very noticeable but I thought it was cool

  • Thanks - makes it easier to know what goes where!

  • does it madder if the solder is lead free or has lead?

  • No idea, however I have tried solder with and without silver and the one with silver costs more but is far better.

  • does it matter if the n64 controller works?

  • Yes, or any contacts you wire to it won't work either. It is a good idea to check the controller works fine before you open it up and mod it.
