Very cool product! This is pretty neat idea for recording your structures, but I'm an engineer and this is pretty technical for a kid I would think (not to mention you need excel). How about a Flash based online utility that required a login, you could create a WYSIWYG type GUI interface that allowed drag and drop and snap into place type of construction. You would be able to build it how it looks, instead of upside down and on unique 3x3 grids. Just a thought :)
