@elitecssplayer Perhaps you're not a dumbass, I apologize.

@rbrisb24 Yes. It's a diesel engine out of a bulldozer in a Ford Ranger. There's alot of fab work.

Truck is awsome would love to be able to do or even have anything like that good job !

I'll probably build a 'mechanical' dash. Should be able to wire up just about everything except the fuel economy readout...
Funny how EVERYBODY who sees these wants to do one?? LOL, maybe detroit should look out the window and see what's going on!
Thanks for the reply 73speedboy

WoW man you dnt see that everyday its good to see what cool shit ppl build i just got a f350 7.3 ima do some shit to that but very sweet id buy that
How much torque and get up and go power does that have.That must also get some great MPG too.

@uoweme50 stock, the engine has 130 HP but 355 pounds of torque. It's quick off the line, but about like a V8 gas as far as response.

In the beginning stages of gathering info on these swaps...LOTS TO LEARN!!
I've pretty much decided to stay with the BT, as opposed to the ISB. Just for the sake of simplicity.
Was it a major hassle to get the gauges/ other 'computer' managed devices in the truck to work...
Nice looking truck ;D

@TheRancherman61 This one came out of a bulldozer, so the only gauges off the engine we hooked up were oil pressure and temp. starter wires up like anything else, so no..was not a pain in the ass. They made this engine to go in box trucks and panel vans, so the newer ones might be more electronic, but this was pretty old school wiring.

@TheRancherman61 as far as the truck, speedo works off rear end, of course. Radio stayed with existing wiring, off of alt and batt on the diesel, heater core works with the diesel. No A.C.

maybe its just the camera but that thing sounds like shit.... um not saying the truck or motor are bad but sounds horrible

@lugnutsdemo Well..um, thanks for your honesty. Much like the sound of a revving Harley, loving the grumble of a diesel engine is an acquired taste. So, watch this video 5000 more times, then report back.
