Yeah it's nice and all but man, does it actually fly? I mean will you get to drive it? Or is just like a "portal area to zone to other places"

@Druscaelan At launch, its probably just your house and transport like in KOTOR and Mass Effect. I don't think they'll do space flight and combat etc until an expansion

Jedi and Sith ship? Could that mean Bounty Hunters and Smugglers ect get other ships?

@Mills88 Yeah there should be many ships - they said you'd be able to choose a ship so that means likely multiple ships for every class. These are just the 2 they confirmed so far.

@Druscaelan Have you not ever played SWG? You could fly fighters, and frigates with multiple gunners using customized guns, engines, systems, and armor. It was also like a flight simulator. So many of you WoW kiddies will have a hard time learning to aim.

i read that you will be able to explore galaxy with your ship

so itll probably be like swg, but faster :P

@Druscaelan a better question is what would the space flight be like? I loved the free flight mechanics of SWG's Jump to light speed. but the video they showed for this looked... linear

This looks exactly like the ships from SWG...which isn't a bad thing - the ships were the best part of the game after NGE.
