After covering the Giants' decimation of the Seahawks on October 5th for the New York Beacon, A Sports Scribe took a brief video of the ongoing construction of the new digs for the Giants and Jets.

Thanks for the reply Uptown Mastermind... No actually I was not aware of that plan, but let's face it, the Jets & Giants need to stop sharing stadiums.... It would appear however that the new stadium is taking on the name "Meadowlnds Stadium!" I am just not a big fan of teams that share stadiums for baseball & football....

Why don't the Jets just build a stadium of thier own??? I hate it when teams have to share stadiums! The Jets should have just built one near Citi Field... And for God's sake, the Giants need to be re-named the NEW JERSEY GIANTS and yes I get the fact they used to play in Old Yankee Stadium, got cha...

Not sure if you recall, but they tried that with the West Side Stadium project when NYC was bidding for the 2012 Olympics. No idea, though, why the Jets never pushed for another site after the WSS plan fell apart.
