Yes, it's raining, so getting off line can be a hairy situation, and yes, Schumacher has been guilty of some questionable moves in the past himself, but Coulthard was totally in fault for this. To let up, with someone directly behind you, in a heavy rainstorm, while on the racing line, you are just asking for someone to get wrecked.
Hell, if they had let Schuey go, and allowed him to whoop Coulthard's ass, I would not blame them one bit.

DC kept racing for almost a full lap in the rain holding up Michael. ten point gone and it proved later on that it cost him the championship!
