@Marisueksu Good to hear I am on my way to knowing how to actually make music then. :P

@Marisueksu True

@terry513 Music theory helps, but in the end it's up to the person if they wish to utilise that knowledge.

@CrankDATdance56 Of course it's handy to have a recognised musical grade. (AMEB 8th grade piano, or some other?) But again not everyone does music for a living. I do music mainly for fun, and to me the grading system is just a way to brag to people you're able to play something like Chopin's "Revolutionary Etude" (which is probably 10th grade) and a fantastic sightreader, but it isn't necessarily indicative of compositional ability.

@Izugart Bit of a late reply, but yeah. It's definitely playable. In fact, even 2 octaves is playable depending on what type of sound you intend to play with.

@piotrtermena81 Bit of a late reply, but there's a good chance that your sustain pedal is not compatible with your keyboard. Apparently the voltage signal needs to be inverted in order for it to respond on certain brands.

you have just proved that you are an ignorant soulja boy cranking fool

@terry513 Actually i do know alot about music theory and i play the piano at grade 8 level.You've just proved how stupid you are by judging someone by their youtube name.
Damn this is good. I hope i can get that good eventually. All i know how to improvise in even slightly are major/minor scales lol.

@gumdrops27 If you're good with patterns and know how to wield the diatonic scale and the circle of fourths/cycle of fifths, try playing everything you play in one key and transpose around the circle. Something my music teacher taught me; it's a very practical method of learning how to play in all keys.

@alow412 The PC used at the time couldn't handle recording live without massive lag and stuttering.
