The lollipop Tree

This video is in response to the closetsinger.com He asked people to make a video and mention his website and so I did.
The lollipop tree was originally sung by Burl Ives. I have known this song since I was a child. Burl Ives sings this song much better than I do. I would never make it to Hollywood on American Idol! Simon would probably vote me off after the first couple of bars if he let me get that far.
This took two days to film and the second day it snowed. I should have reshot the video of Morgan eating the ice cream cone under the tree during the snow but I had family obligations and no time to reshoot. When I uploaded the video to youtube the audio became out of sync with the video. I dont know why because my local copy on my computer is working fine. grrr!!!

I have been singing the Lollipop tree since I was in elementary school in the early 70s. I googled the song to make sure I was singing the words correctly. I discovered I had been singing the last verse incorrectly for the last 35 years or so. I corrected my mistake. :)
