I agree w/ you that there should be more of a contrast in Effie & Deena's weight. One thing I found out, though, is that Michael Bennett was less worried about Effie being heavy & than he was w/ Deena being smaller than Effie. This is seen in the '87 tour w/ Roz White & some of the Effie understudies. Anita Walker is the only person to have played every Dream in a professional production at any given time & she was about the size of the Effie in this production. Still a great performance.

the only thing i don't like is that effie isn't that heavy, but i definitely she's just as good as any black girl who has done it.

no they are not ALL white, effie lorrell and cc are white everyone else is black....deena is black, michelle is black, curtis, jimmy, marty, everyone else is black i guess u cant tell what ur own people look like?

lol i dont know what you mean by resting spot lol. she did anything but rest. if you know anything about singing and performing a lot of singers in musical theatre use what is called a mix, and she uses her mix in one night only.
