By all standards of music..... Sam Cooke continues to excel in vocal delivery, style, and intrepation of gospel and popular music some 46 years after his death....... Is there an artist today with all these attributes??

Undoubtedly the GREATEST of all musicians, in my opinion. Sam Cooke's vocals were/are so pure and even within the very vocals themselves, you can hear a story. Not to mention, his conversational style content captivate the audience just as much as his soulful vocals... RIP Sam Cooke.
