Thanks, I was wrong it's a 3.5, I pulled the motor from the lower unit, and your right it was broke about half way. How can I get the lower broken price out? And do you know how old these things are? My fiance got the boat for me at a garage sale and iv been into the nitro trucks, any info helps with the new hobby. Thanks again.

Think I have a 2.5 looks just like that one, if I spin the crank the prop kinda skips around there's no solid connection between the engine and the prop, should it be that way? And what drives the prop?

@blindasbat509 , nope its not supposed to be like that, sounds like your flex shaft is broken, its pretty common if theyre not maintained properly. The flex shaft is what drives the prop, its like a tightly wound spring that can bend while still transmitting drive to the prop. you can order replacements from the K&B website
