An awesome day where me and everyone went out to fishing at a small river in Thailand. The reason we went was because my dad want to fish in the old way he used to back in his young life. So, it turned out be a great disaster, where we got lost, and seeking our pathway up north. We climbed through rock and cliff and I even drown in the deep and filled my Sony cell phone, my iPod MP4, and my Song Camera 12.1 mega-pix at the back of my backpack. It was just a disaster but at the end.. We all have fun and cook what we got and enjoy the rest of the day.

  • Food seems good, but I can't stand stand sharing the same broth with the same spoon. ewwww.. I understand that its part of their culture... Talk about Germs, and spreading diseases. No offense to anyone.

  • @radigass Hahhaa.. that is how i feel too.. before going over there. Once i was over there.. i got so use to the traditional way and i just eat like everyone is family.. LOL. You will understand what i mean.. when you get to over there. haha..

  • I love my Hmong people. Lets stop hating.

  • @209Hmooblis

  • oh and wat was the orange thing they were eating ? my mom said it was papaya but idk if it is.

what was it though? it looked good. lmao

    :]

  • It was papaya.. They don't have as much as we have over there.. we only mix few of the ingredients.. that's why it look weird.. but it taste WAY better than papaya salad in American.. omg.. i tototally miss those papaya salad over there. Especially in Laos, insteads of Papaya, they use white noodle.. heat them up and mixed them up with papaya sauces... it taste good as heck! i can't wait to be back in Laos and eat those noodle papaya salad.. hehe...

  • hoping to go back there someday...

  • I LIKE THE SONG. WHAT THE TITLE AND WHO SING IT?

  • beautiful place ...

  • dang us hmong americans r missing out

  • Yi Peng Xue, looks like you had alot fun. A hard days work of fishing to get a few fish. Then filling the stomache with that few fish must make it taste great.

  • Blaa gaeng jute I want some

  • I agree that sharing spoon is not part of the culture but again...Hmong always do this anyway so what the heck. Hmong believe that in order to love each other..they must eat in the same bowl and same spoon....just like when walking...hold hand or put arm over each others showder...this just to prove that they are truely friends or loving brothers. I went to Laos and all my cousin male did this to me in public place at first I was shy but later..what the heck...just go for the flow...LOL

  • @radigass, sharing a spoon is not dictated by culture. There is no such culture. It is a matter of having enough spoons for everyone. If not, then people such as husband and wife or parents and young kids would share spoon. This is done by necessity, but definitely not by culture.

  • awww the food looks good..

  • man this makes me miss thai teb so much man i mena im not born there but ive gona and visited it and everything
