  • Looks filling but needs seasoning for taste. Not particularly nutritious but there are other recipes one may have that are cheap & tasty. If you want to reduce the cost even further, use flour to make your own flat bread and insert it in the dish. A small salad before the meal and some fruit after it should be added for further nutrition.

  • Difficult when seeing this without context, but it accompanied a newspaper story about whether a menu of this kind of food -- as one local discount grocer has tried to market -- is a good idea. Object was to show people who don't cook at all how to do this. No, the writer/host did not like this recipe! But was trying, in fairness, to show it does work.

  • Omg, she doesn't really look like someone who knows her way in the kitchen. I mean, the chopping skills were nowhere to be found.

Anyway, this is what they advise people to eat?

Lots of processed meat with some processed cheese?

And some invisible shreds of vegetables?

    Wow, this is really dub.

Better buy some potatoes, boil them, drizzle with oil and eat them. Better for you.

  • I would scramble some egg and put in it,to make it go further.

  • Meal looks really good. The serving suggestions was huge, should be cut in half to feed more. Didn't like Kathy at all. She didn't seem to like the meal or the way it was prepared. Should have had someone who is used to cooking cheap prepare the meal.

  • Heart attack in a wrap but it is cheap and good and that is what you promised. LOL
