@vash1053 It's known for a long time already many elephants have emotions. Elephants even have very strong emotions. Dolphins too. Apes show emotions and baby chimps and gorillas.
-
@vash1053 I worked with animals for more than twelve years. I saw them die out of sadness. Don't tell me animals don't have emotions.
-
@Saartje05 They don't. These are creatures of instinct, which can sometimes manifest outwardly as what we've come to understand as humans as "feelings" and "emotion". That said, even these things are a result of our evolved brains trying to rationalize our instinctual tendencies.
I'm sorry, but nature isn't a fairy tale.

Wonderful video...very cute!
-
are you gonna show when the hippo eats the tortoise?
-
Wasn't this the baby hippo that was orphaned by the Indonesian tsunami? And the only thing it could find to bond with was the tortoise? When you're a baby and you're lonely, even an old tortoise can be a "mom."
Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if people come to love and respect each others differences!

That's amazing! Seeing things like this makes me even more angry with people saying animals don't have feelings or emotions.

@Saartje05 Thanks for taking the time to write. Animal feeling at it's best! Us human could certainly take a lesson.
