Without a central authority, humanity descended into the worst chaos imaginable. Two centuries of war have scorched the earth. But not all life has been destroyed.

Deus Ex: Invisible War was made by Eidos and is available on Valve's STEAM service.

  • This is the best ending by far... Anyway, you would think the Omar would have evolved even further after two centuries?

  • @imnotgivingmynametou Well at this point, they're probably focused on internal evolution and spreading out beyond earth. I imagine aesthetics are less important to a group like this.

    OR DOES IT?

    THE ANSWER IS NO.

    UNLESS IT IS YES.

    NO! WAR NEVER CHANGES.

    YES?

    NO?

  • @sirjefferson9001 You would have absolutely no freedom of even thought, as the omar's minds are linked. Helios js pretty much just an awesome version of the internet that is linked to our bodies, and that anyone can use.

  • Lol..this ending has Fallout written all over it

  • My favourite ending is the Helios merger, but this one is cool too. I like to think that the Omar seen here is a heavily biomodified version of Alex Denton.

  • great the humans turned into quarians from mass effect XD

  • @sirjefferson9001 The helios ending doesn't involve mind control over anyone, and is in fact the best ending without question. I'm amazed how many people misinterpret that.

  • it is wrong that defeating all the factions who want to uphold an authoritarian regime would result in all-destroying war, and it is basically the right thing to do (other endings: helios: mind-control over all humanity, illuminati: secret regime reigning over earth, templars: wtf middle-age fascism)

  • The masterworks of evolution.. Fit for the most barren corners of creation. The glory of humanity would hence forward stretch on through time and space to the vanishing point of eternity.

I would say realising the power in ourselves and expanding over the 'known' universe has always been the goal of humanity. History teaches us so.
