2010 is the 40th Anniversary of the Electric Light Orchestra. ELO was formed in 1970 by Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood from the ashes of The Move. Roy Wood soon left to form Wizzard and Jeff Lynne lead ELO on to become one of the biggest selling acts of the seventies and eighties with global album sales in excess of 50 million. This DVD brings together three live concerts from the earlier part of the band's career. The first is a four track excerpt from a show at Brunel University in 1973, the second a longer eight track set filmed for the German TV series Rockpalast in 1974 and finally the Fusion concert from the New Victoria Theatre in London in 1976, filmed during the "Face The Music" tour. The DVD makes the perfect companion piece to Eagle's Gold selling "Out Of The Blue: Live at Wembley" DVD (EREDV058 & Special Edition EREDV556).

  • amo este grupo aguante elo.

  • What a muscial talent of these guys...nowadays we need more of this.

  • I saw ELO in 1976 in Huntsville Alabama of all places at the Von Braun Civic Center and it was the most AWSOME concert I ever attended.

  • Great quality video for the period.

  • This vid is popular on Sudan

  • It's too bad The Move never made the British Invasion into North America. I think The Move, the group that spawned ELO, had the core essence of the great songs ELO produced throughout the 1970s. ELO remains an extraordinary act from the days when bands had a logo.

  • Dónde puede estar esta versión con la Orquesta Filarmónica de Londres?

  • One of the most progressive bands to ever come out of The UK in The 70's. To be honest, wasn't their best, but wasn't their worst either. Wait till 1979; They'll really rock then.
