There are four basic language skills we need to master in order to be able to communicate effectively; Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening. This presentation will focus on how to hone our students' listening skills. There is more to setting up listening activities than pressing play on the CD player. In this presentation we will look at the importance of preparing our students to succeed at listening tasks through pre-teaching. We will also present a variety of activities that can be used to spice up and expand upon textbook listening exercises.
